Sweet Burrito

January 7, 2011 by Jackie

Burrito had such a good day yesterday. Here’s yet another adorable photo of the big guy enjoying some sweet potatoes during his party:

The thinker…

December 26, 2010 by Jackie

We’ve got a new addition to our playroom- the green hand chair. Pam Lehnert found it at Tap Plastics in Seattle, the company that helped with decorations for the Out of the Box auction. I’m not sure who’s more excited- Jamie or her human friends (I literally squealed when I first saw it!). Thanks so much to Pam, and to Tap Plastics for giving her such a good deal! We are thrilled!

Happy Holiday!

December 25, 2010 by Jackie

What a special week this has been! Over the last few days, we’ve received tons of items from our Amazon Wishlist, we received our brand new, top of the line camera from our amazing board members (which produced the spectacular footage below), and today, the chimps had the most awesome party! Special thanks to Robbi and Dick Brown, Leslie Sodaro, Jeani Goodrich, Diane and Syd Marcus, Sue Elfing, and the GFWC-Battleground, WA for all of the enrichment and to all of our amazing supporters and volunteers, who make days like this possible. Happy Holidays, everyone!

Playful Jody

December 6, 2010 by Jackie

In one of our recent blog comments, the topic of whether or not Foxie likes any other types of dolls (other than troll dolls) came up. Diana explained that for the most part, it seems like Foxie doesn’t like stuffed animals and that she and Jody will sometimes team up and violently shred them. Though I’ve seen Jody do this many times, Diana saying that reminded me of this clip I caught on Thanksgiving Day. Maybe it’s a love/hate kind of thing…?

Negra

November 29, 2010 by Jackie

Today, Elizabeth and I filled the swimming pool with snow and raisins. Negra was so focused on eating the snow that she didn’t seem to care about a cold bum.
