Are you 70.5 or older with a traditional IRA? Typically, funds withdrawn from your IRA count towards your annual income, increasing your overall tax burden. But by donating these funds directly to Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest, you can make a tax-free contribution while making an immediate difference for our work, whether or not you itemize deductions on your tax return.

If you are 72 or older and have a traditional IRA, you are also required to take a Required Minimum Distribution, or you will be taxed heavily on the amount remaining in your account. Donating to CSNW from your IRA is a compassionate way to meet this requirement.
