Happy Holiday!

December 25, 2010 by Jackie

What a special week this has been! Over the last few days, we’ve received tons of items from our Amazon Wishlist, we received our brand new, top of the line camera from our amazing board members (which produced the spectacular footage below), and today, the chimps had the most awesome party! Special thanks to Robbi and Dick Brown, Leslie Sodaro, Jeani Goodrich, Diane and Syd Marcus, Sue Elfing, and the GFWC-Battleground, WA for all of the enrichment and to all of our amazing supporters and volunteers, who make days like this possible. Happy Holidays, everyone!

Yes, the chimps usually get super excited as we set up for a party. The food squeaks and squeals can be over the top! Check out the video from Valentine’s Day (https://chimpsnw.org/2010/02/the-love-continues/) for some footage of pre-party excitement. 🙂

I love their excitement when they have parties. Foxy and Burrito were soooo sweet! I envy you all being there with them and enjoying their holiday with them. Thank you for sharing their Christmas with us! I love these chimps dearly!

Thanks for the Christmas video, Jackie, great as usual. Marie, I think the chimps definitely feel the excitement because of the decorating going on placement of the food. I think it’s nice that the chimps show their excitement for the food and presents.

I feel sad when I think of Foxie being deprived of motherhood, but it makes me happy that her doll babies make her happy.

Thank you for the Christmas video. Wow they were so excited when they entered the room. You guys are just so awesome to take such great care of these 7 beautiful animals. I know they appreciate all that you do for them and so do I. God bless all of you.

Thanks for the wonderful video. I loved the boot in Jamie’s feet while she was hammering away. And oh yes the hand holding between Foxie and Burrito definitely brought out the tears. It was so sweet. Loved the pirate troll. Thanks for showing it Jackie.
