We’ve got a new addition to our playroom- the green hand chair. Pam Lehnert found it at Tap Plastics in Seattle, the company that helped with decorations for the Out of the Box auction. I’m not sure who’s more excited- Jamie or her human friends (I literally squealed when I first saw it!). Thanks so much to Pam, and to Tap Plastics for giving her such a good deal! We are thrilled!

wow jackie i’m so glad you got a photo of her sitting in the chair!!!! awesome!
No doubt Jamie is a thinker. Now she has a chair suitable for her.
Well, let’s give Pam a big hand for that! *clap* *clap* *clap*
that pic is brilliant it made me LOL ! great addition to the play room nice find Pam 🙂 x
I thought the exact same thing! How can you top a picture of Jamie sitting in a giant hand, contemplating her own hand?? This picture is priceless!!
Great shot Jackie!! 🙂
Fantastic! I love it! Did the others get to sit in the green hand chair? Is it heavy; can the chimps move it around?
I haven’t seen anyone else sit in it yet, though they have all checked it out a little bit (some with skepticism). It’s a very strong plastic, but not too heavy to move around. Jamie has been spotted displaying with it and tonight I saw her using a technique similar to this one: https://chimpsnw.org/2010/05/jamies-new-mode-of-transportation/
🙂
I second Marie and Linda! A brilliant photo of a brilliant chimp sitting in/on a brilliant chair!
I love it, and it’s provocative!
WOW! Leave it to Jamie and Congrats for being in the right place at the right time for the photo Jackie. That is priceless!!!!
This chair is just SO Jamie!! I love it! And love the photo! Great find, Pam!
What a great chair… thanks Pam!!! I love the photo too!!
who said that chimps aren’t existential?
AWESOME…….what a fantastic idea.
It looks like Jamie is trying to give her hand the same shape as the chair.
Tamela, it would have to be extremely heavy for a determined chimp not to move it. Chimps are VERY powerful when they exert even half to 3/4 of their strength.
What an awesome picture! I love it. Thanks, Pam!
