Negra holding peanut

Sanctuary means…

December 8, 2013 by Elizabeth

I think sanctuary means something different to each of the chimpanzees. To Negra, it means the joy that a single peanut brings.

Beautiful, Elizabeth, in its simplicity. Like a haiku.

If only humans could learn the simple enjoyment of a peanut. We could learn a lot from Negra. I love seeing pictures and videos of all the chimps.
