Who knew?

August 15, 2008 by Sarah

We took these two videos the other day – one of Annie and one of Jamie. I spent the whole day marveling and saying over and over “How do they know how to do that??” What do you think? Did they learn these skills from watching construction progress outside? Or something from their past?

Brilliant footage or Jamie and Annie with wrenches. Are they metal or plastic? Annie seems to need to be shown how to open hers since it is shut tight. One remarkable activity after another is what you show us. We wonder also where they learned about wrenches. Perhaps from television? Thank you as always.

    they’re smarties!

maybe a combination of what you said plus their instincts to use tools maybe?!

JB – Keith – we’re going to have to ask you to stop putting your wrench’s in your mouth when you work – look what Annie has picked up 😉

Okay, so if they’re watching humans ~ what about showing them how to cuddle more, rub each others feet, give massages, dance and share when it comes to food, trolls and toys? 😉

Another thought about the wrench use…..perhaps Annie is planning to take up dentistry!!

oh goodness, Margaret and Karen, I’m afraid you’ll need to volunteer as their firtt patients ~ I want to be last in line!

I was thinking about dentistry as well. I think there’s a logic to understanding simple tools that our minds share. But I bet they have seen some work outside and maybe some things in their past, imitation is big in their repetoire. Shelly, you’ll have to fight me for last in line at Annie’s dental chair!!!!

The “troll person” from ebay wrote me saying she’s really enjoying seeing Foxie so happy!!

Shelly….unless Annie uses LOTS of nitrous oxide I am not coming anywhere near–my same policy with all dentists!

Okay now was that Margaret or Karen who made the nitrous oxide note??? You could not possibly have known ~ I am a nitrous oxide junkie! Seriously, only my dentist and people who know me very well are (were) aware of that dirty little secret 😉 Heaven help me, but with enough nitrous, I could probably careless whether Annie pulls all my teeth! That is some good stuff.
