We recently sent out a request for more troll dolls, and we were fortunate to receive quite a few from our volunteers and regular blog readers. Last night, we decided to offer a couple of them to Foxie to see if she’d be interested. Interested would be an understatement – she was thrilled! Here are some photos of Foxie with one of her new dolls, which we have dubbed “Princess” (don’t tell anyone that I have been naming dolls, please). Thanks, Cindy, for sending them. These are both “action” shots because Foxie likes to stare at her trolls and shake them…
And for those of you who are willing to admit that you suddenly feel sympathy for the inanimate doll known as “Trixie” (Foxie’s first adopted troll), I am happy to provide an update. Ever since Foxie took an interest in Trixie, Jamie has been threatening to take Trixie away. Now, I don’t want to sound judgemental, but Jamie can be a bit manipulative and she enjoys getting a rise out of her chimp friends sometimes. So we figured that she was just having fun at Foxie’s expense. But as soon as Foxie put Trixie down, Trixie was adopted once again… perhaps I was wrong about Jamie?

I won’t tell anyone, JB, but I think that *you just told a whole lot of people! ๐ LOL!
We’re reading the blog every day and we want to thank you and Diana and Sarah for all the daily updates, photos and videos. It’s the next best thing to actually being there! ๐
P.S. Just wondering … do you have Yop where you are now? ๐
oh my gosh! So, JB, if Jamie adopted Trixie – even though Foxie has Princess….is Foxie now uninterested in the fact that Jamie has Trixie?? Wow, very interesting that they are so into the Trolls. Cindy how great that you found and sent them!
This is so great, this has to be my favorite picture of Jamie so far. In a nest with Trixie taking a nap.
Jamie is my favorite, I always look forward to posts about her, and this is such a sweet story. Thank you JB this made my night.
Maybe all the girls want to adopt a Troll doll. Our family is getting bigger, how great.
JB naming dolls, what will happen next?? At least trolls don’t need food!! There is a whole troll subculture on ebay, trolls with all sorts of outfits etc etc!! Don’t tell Foxie and Jamie! It is continually amazing where chimp tastes will lead us.
My pleasure to find them!! Anytime!! The seller was really nice too and interested in the primate recipients of her dolls! I will let her know how thrilled the chimps are with them.
Until now we have never been interested in soap operas…however “Chimp-dom and Troll-dom” has started already to be a great one and we are hooked! What is happening is unbelievable and fill our hearts with such glee. To be continued. You CANNOT give us this bit of fun without following up on what happens TOMORROW!!! By the way, was just one new troll introduced! Thanks! With the “wee folk” living with the chimps you will have to be careful when you walk not to step on one! Perhaps we will have to celebrate THEIR birthdays TOO with tiny cakes! The more parties them merrier. Love to you all.
By the way, JB, we have a tiny baby girly dolly that needs naming….would you? She is about 5 inches long. ๐
I thought I gave up soap operas years ago but this is too good! Foxie and Jamie are setting us up for lots of laughs, smiles, and maybe a few tears. I can’t wait to find out if Trixie sneaks back to her first mom or loves Jamie and stays. Will Foxie be content with Princess or will this start a whole new quest for more? I’ll keep tuning in for the daily turn of events! Thanks guys, you are wonderful about keeping up the photos and blog so we can be a small part of the lives of the Cle Elum 7.
Ohhhhh, these are the sweetest pictures ever!!!! And I LOVED reading the story explaining them….Thank you, JB!! Don’t worry….I’ve only told a couple of people about your talent for naming dolls! It always makes my co-workers smile when I tell them about the adventures of Foxie & Trixie (now Princess) & (now) Jamie & Trixie ๐ Thank you so much for this GREAT post!!
Audrey I think you should tell JB what Jim said about why they like the raisen boards so much……….;-0
