Greeting Tour

September 27, 2020 by Anthony

A while back, one of our followers specifically requested a video of us greeting the chimpanzees in the morning.

Well, here it is.

I hope y’all appreciate the chimps’ enthusiasm as much as I do.

Talk about “spreading the love”…. Such a heartwarming way to start your day…(For the chimp- people AND the people-people… : )

Yes! This is simply wonderful Anthony, thank you for once again giving us a birds-eye view of your daily life at the sanctuary. You can tell the cooler days of fall are coming, Jamie is all prepared again today with her troll scarf. A great way to keep the early morning chill off your neck and shoulders. Oh Jamie! (insert 4-5 heart emojis here please) I enjoyed your commentary, especially enjoyed hearing the pleasure in your voice at certain times, like when Bubba mad his dash through the raceway (you had the best giggle in your voice), and the way you called out to each chimp by name with your voice changing for each person. I could feel your enjoyment over each individual. Thanks for sharing your morning meet and greet with us.

Lucky is he who greets the chimps in the morning (and the bovines too!).

What a fun video! I thought to myself towards the end there….”and I bet Negra is still upstairs under her covers”….and indeed she was!

This was great video. I enjoy you giving us a view of their normal everyday routines. We are all so grateful for all your hard work and care you provide to our pals at the sanctuary.
