Sunday Morning, Rain is (Not) Falling

September 5, 2021 by Sofia Castro-Loza

On this lazy Sunday morning everyone was doing their thing and hanging out in their favorite spots while taking in the warm breeze. Enjoy some moments I captured this morning!

Usually, Neggie can be found nesting in the top platform of the green house on nice mornings.

When Jody came in from the morning stroll around Young’s Hill, she soaked up some sun rays in the green house.

Honey very much aware of me during my perimeter check walk this morning.

Gordo, Gordito, unbothered by everything and everyone. What a life!!!

Sir Cy enjoying the morning rays in the green house.

And then we have this great sequence. Rayne in the back while Dora and Lucky engage in some play time.

What a fun blog. The sun looks lovely and the chimps seem to know that also. They looked so relaxed and just plain
enjoying their life. Loved all the pictures and hope they all have a wonderful “sunny” week. Thanks again.

There is great comfort knowing certain truths like Negra can be found in her favorite sunny place in the greenhouse all snug and content under her blankets. And then there is Gordo! The King Of Comfort. Hysterical! Life is good at CSNW. Thanks for making this another comforting truth.

    Can I come live there?

I’ve been meaning to comment on the fresh colors of the new playrooms. They are so calming and relaxing. And the light gray window trim and caging. So nice.

I had to work today, but it was pretty chill, and we finished early. The sky was blue, the wind was calm, my co-workers were cheerful. So glad we all shared a lovely day, best wishes to all!

Gordo is just like my boy cat…..”I’m too tired to walk another step so I’ll just lie down right here and have a snooze!”

    Thanks Sofìa,
It must have been balmy;'[ Negra with NO blanket pulled over her for cosyness….
And I can see Rayne look at her sisters with love, thinking “ach those kids, look at them, they are having so much fun”.
    Life is good.
