BFFs for sure! I’ll be sure to put more grooming items in the enrichment bins next time I’m there.

Do they ever brush each other?

I’m adding my question onto yours, Kathy, does Annie ever use a brush on herself. I know Jamie loves a good brushing, but do any of the others?

I haven’t seen anyone brushing someone else, but I’ve seen Jamie brush troll doll’s hair before (https://chimpsnw.org/2009/09/lookin-good-jamie/) Jamie probably brushes herself more frequently than the rest, but I’ve seen Jody, and now Missy brush themselves as well.

Nothing I enjoy more than a good hair brushing to make me relaxed. This video reminds me that as a child my Mom would trace a bobby pin, she didn’t have long fingernails, around the outside of our ear, talk about relaxing. Also, when I’m around little children I’ll demonstrate how I gently move my fingernails across the inside of their forearm and it’s as if they go into a trance when I do it.

Seeing Missy and Annie enjoying, even quiet time, with one another is heartwarming.

These two share quite a special bond that is so heartwarming to watch.
