Jamie has a new hobby – playing in the sandbox that Kathy B. brought her

Keith put more straw in the outdoor area today and Jody was one happy chimpanzee. She even brought some inside with her to make a nest. Jody often lays on her back holding her feet.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! I love these pictures, and all of the other pictures and the videos and I love knowing that these seven chimps now have choices regarding how they spend their days — they can be inside or outside, playing chase, grooming each other, painting, playing with toys, making nests, having a nice nap in the sunshine and many more activities that they never had the chance to experience and enjoy before. And there’s food fit for royalty to eat now, too! 🙂

All the photos are just beautiful!

The way that Jody likes to lie on her back holding her feet reminds me of Fauna’s Annie. We have a Fauna tote bag and a Fauna tee shirt with a photo of Fauna’s Annie on them in exactly that position. 🙂

You all are the best! I am so glad I got to say hi to Jody today. And I was thrilled to get a glimpse of Foxie with her troll. And Burrito, you are handsome even if it was only a glance. What wonderful voices you all have. I can’t wit to see you again and start fixing your meals and washing your clothes. You all are so special.
