Jamie wants OUT!

August 26, 2008 by Sarah

It’s a madhouse this morning – T-minus 45 minutes until the big moment! I sat down for a quick quiet minute with Jamie and asked (in sign language) “YOU WANT OUT THERE?” pointing to the outdoor area door. She bobbed her head and to my surprise, she signed OUT! We have seen her sign a few things, but OUT was a first!

 More soon!

How fantastic is that?! Jamie , I’m sure is expressing everyone’s opinion. I will be thinking of all at 10:15. Will they get to sleep out there if they want to?

The weather here in the upper county couldn’t be any better for their first day “out”. The sun is shinning and there a few white fluffy clounds. Enjoy CE7………..

Thank you so much, Sarah, for taking the time to tell us about Jamie signing her/their wishes… adds to the excitement to hear that they are as excited as we all are!

Sarah ~ can you teach the chimps sign language for “love” so that we can tell them that we love them?
