I will sleep good tonight, as will the 7 from heaven now that there are such great people and great new friends to love them and take care of them and keep them safe. I show them off at work all the time and have alot of pictures people have been bringing in so we can make a photo cards full of animals for them. I am so happy they have you all and now they have all of us that think of them daily and I know everyone like myself wonders what they are doing and what kind of pictures and/or videos we wiill get when we get home from a long day of work! Thanks!

Hi there – this is a note to Shelly Campbell ~ Shelly you’d expressed concern about the slaughter of the mountain gorilla’s in the Congo – there is a new non-profit headed up by Drew Nichol out of Bellevue, WA (http://gorillasinourmidst.org/mission.html), which is connected to an AMAZING project that supports those very gorillas – The Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project (MGVP). There is an awesome blog at http://discovery.blogs.com/quest/gorillas/ – with the most phenomenal photo’s of the gorillas you’ll ever see. Dr. Lucy Spellman writes narratives for the photos to let everyone know exactly what is happening with them. Check it out.

The picutures of Annie are incredible! I love em! She looks so happy! Bless your hearts for this and all that you do! I have been coming to the website/blog since I read about the Cle Elem Seven in the Tri City Herald. I also visit the “FriendsofWashoe” webcam several times everyday. All of the care and love coming in warms my heart!

Thank you Shelly Knapp….I spend every spare moment reading and following up un chimps, gorillas and all other primates….I wish my future included taking care of these beautiful creatures, I would quit my job in a minute if I could give the rest of my life to taking care of animals, I just need the land to do it. I told my husband I want to sell my house and buy property, live in my RV and do like Keith LaChapelledi and said “Build it and they will come”, I would love to have a sanctuary for all animals and spend the rest of my life making sure they were never in harms way! Thank You!

what wonderful shots. Thanks for sharing these photos with us!

So, in general, is there more harmony and less screaming now? Can you tell a difference generally speaking or are they just having more happy moments?
