Foxie’s birthday is coming up soon! On August 8th Foxie will be turning 33, and we are going to celebrate Foxie-style. We are planning to put out more trolls than she has ever had at once. So, dig out those trolls you collected in the eighties and send Foxie a couple to PO Box 952, Cle Elum, WA 98922.

Put up your feet and watch this looong and lazy video of Foxie and Jamie’s looong and lazy play session. Turn up your volume for lots of chimpanzee laughter.

I think it’s really starting to sink in that the Cle Elum Seven have been in sanctuary for one year. We can now look back at blog posts from exactly one year ago and see how much has changed, including our videography skills! All of the chimpanzees at CSNW enjoy gum as an occasional treat. Foxie is particularly enthusiastic with her gum chewing.
Burrito carried around his coconut for a couple of hours this morning (rolling it, shaking it, cradling it) before breaking it open to enjoy the goodness. Be sure your speaker volume is up so you can hear his contented grunts and moans.
