Thank You

August 27, 2008 by J.B.

Here are a few more photos from yesterday. I think Missy’s expression in the last photo says it all.  Thank you all for helping to put a smile on her face.

Burrito walking along the deck:

Annie resting in a bed of straw:

Missy sleeping in the most elaborate nest:

And one very happy chimpanzee:

The world needs to change…..people need to STOP abusing all animals….the chimps have it the worst though, as their dna is so close to ours they are our cousins, and they get treated like they are nothing, stupid, like they have no feelings, it really ticks me off to no end, I want to open a chimo sanctuary, we need more sanctuaries so we can save them all from their lives of doom in the places they in now, cages that they cannot even stand in let alone swing, make big nest, comfort each other, no enrichment, we need more sanctuaries so we can get them out of the torture chambers they are being forced to live in. Okay done venting, I love them all so much, every last one of them in all the labs across the world, I pray for them all the time that God helps to get them out of those places!!! Missy’s nest looks really good to me right now, I am pooped and it is only Wednesday!!!! My love to all!!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOI love you Negra, I love you Missy, I love you Annie, I love you Jody, I love you Foxie, I love you Jamie and Burrito baby I love you too!!!! May the rest of your lives be nothing BUT BLESSED! I read the article ain the LA Times and it made me cry, how can anyone with a heart beat a chimp, HOW?????? For Donuts, he had to die…..I would have went and bought him more!!!!

Thank you, J.B., for the beautiful, heartwarming pictures! As Diana said in one of the news interviews, this is only the beginning of what we hope & plan to do for these chimpanzees! We will be there to help you all every step of the way! 🙂

Words just cannot express how truly awesome this is for these beloved animals! (Thanks to Shelley Campbell-you said it all!)
Thanks to you all who have made this possible for the chimps! Finally, the freedom & joy they so very much deserve! Hopefully, more & more chimps in labs can be freed! Bless them all!
