What an entirely delightful day everyone had! Thanks to everyone who made it such a special celebration.
We will always miss Jody, and she will forever be a part of the heart of what it means to us to provide sanctuary.

Thank you, Diana! This was a delightfully long video!
I was excited to see Annie score both a pineapple bowl AND a watermelon bowl! I hope she managed to keep both of them.
And I see that the two G’s have somewhat of a similar situation to Lucky and Rayne with regard to foods that they like and don’t like/sharing. Yellow watermrlon was a fav when I lived in the Midwest.
Mave, Willy, and Beezy all outside! A great day, and Willy now braves the tall grass. The power of watermelon….
As always, our Queen was thrilled with what she had.
I hope you had a good bday last week (or 10 days), Diana, and that all of the moms enjoyed their day today.
Linda, at :51 showing the exterior view of the OG greenhouse, I now see what you meant about the greenhouse built into the hill .
😉
Looks like there are some new plants there.
What a wonderful celebration of Jody. I am sure she would approve of the feast on offer!
Oh, what a lovely celebration! The fruit bowls, as always, so beautiful. I am always amazed by all the effort and attention to detail, not to mention all the love that you caregivers pour into the catering of your parties. It’s so touching. Clearly, each and every chimpanzee enjoyed and appreciated all your efforts! Jamie had the most satisfied smile on her beautiful face. And dear Negra, starting with her starchy snap peas then moving on to her special lilacs, must have really felt like a queen as she dined with her caregiver.
To see Willy B, Honey B, and Mave altogether out on the Bray was so exciting! Willy B looked so natural strolling through the tall spring grass. Sigh of joy ! You must feel so proud. Thank you all for giving these three this incredible opportunity!
George may not be a mother and he sadly never knew Jody, but he sure enjoyed the celebration as if, perhaps, it was thrown just for him. And in a way, it was. Individually, each chimpanzee finds their own pleasure in these special celebratory events. Thank you for letting us share in their happiness.
Beautiful Mother’s Day party and I do believe Jody was lookong down upon you all and cheering you on. Thank you for sharing and caring .:heart::sparkling_heart:?
Thank you, All! For the love and care you give to all of our dear mothers and their friends here. ? and to all of the kind and caring supporters that make it happen.
Jody would have loved this celebration forage. Those fruit bowls looked delicious. The lilacs in Jody’s statue hand in the memorial garden is a very special memory.
