A week ago, volunteer caregiver Krissy, had a very sweet moment with Terry during cleaning. While interacting with him through the mesh, she began dancing for him and he ended up joining her. I snagged the clips from our camera footage and it is enough to make your day! Enjoy 🙂
Krissy’s dance! that was just toooo cool. so thankful for these furry freinds to have such a wonderful forever home with wonderful care givers ?
next please do the disappear behind a blanket trick sometime.. maybe that would freak them out too much. you are the experts so i will leave that to you.
Thanks for sharing all of this with us. love and health to you all
that might be funny! I wonder if they would appreciate the humor behind that?
Jodi, I have done that before and I didn’t get any reaction! :joy:
why do I feel like Bubba might fall for it?!
When they say “dance like nobody is watching”, they don’t really mean it!
This must be the same wonderful Krissy whose parents have sponsored a day in her honor. Krissy, you do the most amazing things, and it’s so nice to finally see you in action! thank you for making Terry’s day!
oh, Jenna, the hyperlink in the blog text message is missing. if people don’t look down and click on the bar below the picture they might not see it
Fixed it now! Thank you, Linda!
That was awesome! You had my toe tapping! An autonomous response. Terry was way too cute!
Their pax de deux is so wonderful! We were completely charmed by them!
Who could Terry when he asks you to dance with him?! I am glad — and relieved — to see today’s blog. I was beginning to fear that, as Honey B had unspooled the garden hose last March, she and her friends had taken care of the CSNW’s internet connection in a similar manner.
And, however belatedly, I wish Betsy Beauvine a bountiful birthday and a good new year of life. If she isn’t too busy giving herself a facial down at the spring (as if she needs it; she doesn’t look a day over two, let alone old enough to be Nutmeg’s ma), give her a scratch or two of affection.
that was great! he seemed to really enjoy it
love it! dance (and rhythm) are universal :dancer::star_struck:
As we used to hear on American Bandstand (yeah, I’m old), “Good beat, good rhythm, easy to dance to. I’d give it a 95!” 🙂 What a great thing to add so much fun to their days. 🙂
You’re not alone, Barbara! I remember AB and Soul Train, too!
That was delightful, what a fun thing for Krissy to do with Terry. I still believe the Californians were used to listening to music and dancing with their former caregivers. Thanks for sharing Jenna.
So happy that dance routine was caught on camera. Krissy, you looked like (and sounded like) one of the female dancers from Ballet Folklórico de México! When Terry joined in with his side step shuffle I just about squealed with delight. Next performance, a private dance for the Queen, please!
Move over Fred and Ginger! There is a new dynamic duo in town!! This made me so hapoy and I love this so much!!! I love how Terry had to clear his dance space and fling the white towel off to the side! So fun!!!
Uh-oh, are dancing skills required to be a Caregiver?? well, if so, guess I’m out!! Great video……Thank You!!
Do they ever listen to music?
Bonnie, I’ve asked in the past, and they said that the original 7 don’t seem to care much one way or the other. Sometimes Neggie, maybe. But as for the Californians, good question!
Wow, that was lovely, beyond lovely. It really made me smile, and it was fantastic to see Terry do a wed bit of dancing of his own. It was a case of Krissy asking, are you dancing, are you asking, im asking, well lets go. its an old saying, but dont know if youve heard it before. But, really it brought a huge smile and was such a lovely thing of Krissy to do, no matter how busy she must have been. Winderful
