It’s going to be a busy Monday here at Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest- a produce delivery, a facility inspection, some staff training, ongoing construction work, and all the usual chores- so today’s blog post is short and sweet.
Here’s a photo of Foxie enjoying the views from “The Portrait Studio” (Front Room 4), complete with a colorful doll companion.

Foxie needs to be on the catwalk!
Anthony says
Absolutely!
Tobin says
I am far more grateful that Foxie can climb up her Escher tower with her dolls, that is when she can spare a moment or two from one of her glamour shots. What a beautiful chimpwoman.
Kathleen says
Can’t think of anything more wonderful than spunky little Foxie with her doll du jour — this will have me smiling for the rest of the day. Excellent photo. The Photo Botth never disappoints.
Good luck accomplishing everything today.
Anthony says
Thanks, Kathleen!

That is a beautiful portrait of Foxie. Thank you, Anthony.
On another note- someone noted awhile back that CSNW will get a percentage of purchases made through AmazonSmile. I got a notice this morning that CSNW has received $628.95 as a result. On another paragraph they said it’s received $9,649.14. I hope the latter is true. So I wanted to remind everyone that even small purchases add up and we can help our favorite chimps and chimp sanctuary. We do need to place the order through AmazonSmile, and not just Amazon.
Marya says
Maureen, thank you so much for telling us about this. I don’t purchase a lot on Amazon but when I do I’m happy to know something can go to CSNW! And, what a wonderful capturing of all Foxie’s beauty and depth of personality. Who’s the kid she’s cradling with the purple hair? I know Strawberry Shortcake but not the names of others and haven’t seen this one before. A totally gorgeous picture!
Marya says
Oops!! Blue hair, not purple. Now that gives everyone a good example of how short my attention span is these days!! Sheesh…
Linda C says
Blueberry Muffin’s hair is usually all blue, don’t know where that pink streak comes in. Unless she’s a different line of doll.
I’ve sent dolls that weren’t Dora or SS before, if their heads are hard enough!
Laurie Mowat says
The $628.95 is the quarterly report. The other amount is all that has been donated in total so far. Hope this helps.
Maureen says
Thank you, Laurie! I couldn’t figure that out. So glad the little amounts for each buyer add up so well for CSNW!
