The chimps are always having these amazing play sessions in the front rooms while we clean their playroom. Yesterday was a particularly silly day as you can see from the video and photos. It’s always a good day when you see boss lady Jamie letting her hair down to play with her friends, Burrito and Foxie. The day continued to be goofy with this guy! There is nothing better than an upside-down Burrito and hearing him laugh.
It snowed quite a bit last night. So today was all about snow, napping, and yelling at the neighbors.
Jody melting our hearts since 1975 <3.
Negra with her snow snacks.
So sweet is the blog. Isn’t it nice to see how free the chimps can be
to play with their friends. That is so heart warming to see as I’m sure
you all know at CSNW. Thank You.
What a funny Video, Jamie seems like she is in such a fun mood.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen her upside down like that. So sweet 🙂
Thank you for the video, I never get tired of the breathy laughing that comes from a big ball of chimps. Loved the tug-of-war over the blankets, thanks for pointing out the doll! I really wish I enjoyed the winter as much as these guys do. I think I need to work on that. Thanks again for the reminder that winter is wonderful!
Their laughter is contagious! Looks like Negra wasn’t interested in the shenanigans. Nice to see her enjoying the snow snacks. And speaking of wild shenanigans, Burrito is such a crack up! Is it me or does he get more delicious with each passing day?! I haven’t seen a game of Jamie-troll-keep-away in a long time. Butts up everyone! And beautiful Jody absolutely melted my heart. Thanks Kelsi!
“Jody, melting our hearts since 1975”– I love that, Kelsi. Once again, I’m reminded that part of why I follow this sanctuary is the fact that you guys do such a good job of making us feel like we know these chimpy people as individuals– so we read that and get what you mean immediately.
We got “perfect snow” here. That means that I woke up yesterday to pretty trees, but I didn’t have to shovel my car out, I could brush off the snow instead of scraping, so I still got to work early, and it started to melt by the afternoon. The way snow should be. Not great for grabbing chunks to eat, but just as well, no chimps here to eat it.
I just love the sweetness in their faces.
