Today began much as it appears to be ending (it’s still in progress 🙂 ). And though there were at least one hundred and ninety nine other things in-between, it was wonderful to have the one constant of the day to be dear friends walking together on a late summer day.
Jamie and Missy lead the way (you can just make them out through the grass in the top right corner) and Annie and Burrito follow:

looks like ol’ Orange Blossom has finally pulled some vacation time! 😛
Glad to hear these parys of the day are nice, Katelyn!
Does anyone ever get up on top of the Twister?

Linda, no such luck for Orange Blossom, Foxie had me carrying her. 😉 Some of the chimps do occasionally go all the way to the top! But most, especially Jamie, seem to prefer the shaded viewing area under the crow’s nest.

“…it was wonderful to have the one constant of the day to be dear friends walking together on a late summer day.” Oh I so agree with you on this Katelyn, even as an observer from afar, I so love seeing the gang on their patrols. Cracks me up when I see Annie and Burrito walking bipedally. Looks like a perfect day on the Hill. Hope you found time to tackle the 99 other things in your busy day. I have no idea how you do all you do every single day!

Wonderful post…. It’s the simple things in life that make it shine… Annie & Burrito walking bipedally and a little Blueberry Muffin with our Foxie (and you) just make my day! Thanks to all as always for making this all possible.

Can you please provide an update on Jody? I am very concerned for her.
Katelyn says
Hello, Tobin – Thanks for checking in on beloved Jody. She is doing well! There are still a few test results from her procedure pending before we will have more definitive results, but things are going well so far, Jody’s incision is healing nicely and we hope to have her back with the group today (though will be holding off a bit longer on outdoor access to help ensure healing)! She has told us in no uncertain terms She.Is.Ready. 🙂
