Annie can often be described as sweet. I find myself calling her “sweet Annie” all the time around the chimp house. I mean, just look at her.
Annie is usually with her best friend Missy or making “sweet” bird noises. Annie is a pretty gentle chimp overall. Do not get me wrong, she can get rough and tough too! Like when she tries to groom you. Annie loves bare feet. She will groom caregivers’ toes with a tool, and due to her excitement, she is far from gentle!
I wonder what they think when they see people feet; like “What happened to your big toe? How can you walk on that?”
Annie’s my girl (heart emoji!) She can do my feet anytime;)
I wish Sweet Annie could groom my feet! Thank you for the beautiful pictures!
I love sweet Annie, that hair ! 🙂
The stunning photos you post everyday, with all the great stories about each of the chimps as individuals just fuel a certain sense of inner joy I can’t quite put to words…
I find all ten of the chimps beyond captivating, & I long to know every little thing about them because it just strengthens my deep love & affection for them more & more & more…(I truly love ALL animals, but have a lifelong passion for our Great Apes…
To CSNW, & all the other dedicated organizations like yours …Your ongoing commitment of providing the best lives possible for rescued chimpanzees & the ones still waiting to be rescued, just “pings” at my heartstrings…
Debi: My exact sentiments, too. My heart just melts when I see these beautiful creatures.
Sweet, elegant, brave, loyal, beautiful Annie. Thank you for giving her this sanctuary life where she could finally blossom and find her true self. She has come so far.
Lol,it’s always “*dear*, sweet Annie”…..who, to me, always gives the appearance of thinking very deep thoughts….
I love that she is enjoying life with her bestie, and that her bestie loves her back.
Most of all, I just love *those hands*! 😀
Love beautiful Annie and all the Chimp People!!
Dreamboat Annie! 🙂 Love her!
Very heartwarming post. Hard not to fall in love with these beautiful
chimps. So fortunate they are to have a home at CSNW. I’m sure
they already know that-Free to be Me.
