Warming up to the cold stuff

December 21, 2019 by Diana

Was it just a week ago that I was wondering out loud if the new three would grow to appreciate snow?!

Check out the video of Willy B and Honey B clearly appreciating the buckets of snow we have been bringing inside.

The first clip of Willy B cracks me up every time – drop one ball of snow and another magically appears!

Yay ! I knew they would catch on 🙂
They really seem to be enjoying it in this Video.

And now, from beautiful CSN, we have that Chimp Magician Willy B with his disappearing and appearing snowball.

      It’s just so funny!

Just more proof they’re feeling more at home and becoming more and more trusting of their keepers and surroundings! Wait until they’ve been there a year, and they’re old pros at everything! Won’t that be wonderful!!!

Looks like soon Honey B will be the one who needs a warming cup of tea!
Diana, why has Mr B’s slinky been outside for a week!? He must be feeling good enough to play with it by now!

Indeed! A warming tea was in order. We now have many slinkies at the sanctuary. Plenty to go around. Burrito has been getting them on the regular. Confession: I recycled that photo of Jody from last week :).

          Lil, I wondered! 😀
Yay to many slinkies! I’m sure the boys will put them through the paces….pity they never got to try them together!

I’m no expert, but both groups’ liking of snow seems to be a study in cultural anthropology unfolding right before our eyes! 🙂

A much needed chuckle and a warm fuzzy feeling of joy. Priceless video!

    Hey, D,

Wondering: do any of them wadge it with alfalfa cubes like is Jody’s favourite thing to do? Or has that evolutionary dining experience just not happened yet?

Merry Christmas to you and Jeeb and everyone there! Make sure this year’s Christmas party video is nice and long, too! 😀

    Cheers.

Ah ha! Look at Honey B with her wonderful wadge of wintery goodness! I also love Willy B’s bedhead (the fuzzy back of his beautiful head). This was a delightful video. Can’t wait to see if Mave catches on — peer pressure!
