A Chimp Named “Burrito”

December 20, 2019 by Anthony

Today, instead of a lengthy blog post, I am leaving you all with a simple image of Burrito.

I hope you all appreciate Bubba’s zesty personality, goofy antics, and youthful heart as much as we do. He’s a helluva guy.

Whenever I look into all these Chimps’ eyes, I feel as if they are looking into my soul. Especially Burrito.

The best way to start my weekend seeing that face of Burrito’s, it puts a smile on my face.

Perfect. Just what I have been waiting to see, Mr. B with a wooden toy in his mouth. Now a little video of tug and chase and I’ll know everything is back to normal. : ) Oh. That. Face!

I’m not sure how to explain this, but my heart has this special beat for Burrito…It’s like, I can’t stop cheering him on, no matter what he’s doing…he wonder of it all…He’s looking so calm & contemplative in these marvelous photos..Deep in thought, as maybe thinking about Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution…OR…Perhaps he just smells lunch in the air, or at the very least, a very tasty treat coming his way…smiles

I seem to have this ongoing sense of longing to sit off in the distance somewhere
& quietly observe him in his day-to-day life….Making any kind of eye contact with him would be far beyond blissfulness…

I hope everyone is having a joyful weekend…Love & hugs, Debi

A big hoot to my guy Burrito! Can’t say it enough I love the chimps!

I don’t know exactly why, but the moment that I first saw that photograph of Burrito, I smiled and emitted a small squeal of excitement (mitigating factor: I am at a computer in a public library, and thus must refrain from outbursts). I just adore him. I trust that he will savor the taste of his wooden doughnut.

Lol, let the world know, Tobin! A little extra publicity…

The world has lots of “crazy cat ladies”; we can be “crazy chimp people”! 😀
My trainer and her husband, 40-something parents of a 21 year old, recently adopted a relative’s baby, to keep her out of the system. So they’re doing it all over again…she has no time for things like blogs, but she often asks me what they’re up to, has begun to remember some of the names, etc!
