Annie has so many endearing habits and pastimes. Some of my favorites are seen in the video of this blog, including her “bird noises” and the way she lays on her back and claps her feet. I also love to see her in her “yoga poses”. As if all of that wasn’t adorable enough, she has recently found yet another adorable habit. Over the last few months (especially when we were regularly giving the chimps bottled water due to the Taylor Bridge Fire) I’ve seen her occasionally fill her mouth with water, lay on her back and spit the water into the air or in her hand so she can rub it all over her face. Today I caught her lounging in the greenhouse “cleaning her face” after running around on Young’s Hill with Missy. Seems like the perfect refresher.

I just LOVE it! what character. Gave me a great laugh. Great poses and photos. I have become a great fan of the CE7. I went all the way back to the first blog in October 15th of 2007 last night. Took me hours to go back and will take me awhile to read each blog. Love the photos and video’s. It will take some time to go through all the blogs, but it will be worth it. I am hooked due to the intoduction of the CE7 by my sister Annie Norris who is now a volunteer. I envy her for that.
Thank you for rescuing them, loving them, and taking such excellent care of them!

I think , after all those years they spent in labs,, they are all still finding new things,, its so wonderful,, that they have such a wonderful home such as CSNW , with staff who constantly, and religously, empower the chimps to live a life of freedom to choose,, Chimps Choice, is such a descript choice of words. Thanks Jackie, for always giving us such descriptive posts, based on your keen observations..Excellent!

I’m sure Missy put Annie through an exhilarating workout today on the hill and a splash or two to the face was a must! I like the fact that she will spit the water on her own face rather then on a volunteer or caregiver 🙂 Those were totally adorable photo’s of Annie, Jackie!
Hey sis, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you’ll get to see the chimps this weekend if the weather is good to us. Love ya!
