Sweet Jody

May 22, 2011 by Jackie

On a warm day, Jody loves having the barn doors open. She seems to love the fresh air and the view, and as soon as we open them up for the day, she usually starts going around the playroom collecting as many blankets as possible and makes a giant nest right next to them, either in the sun or where ever she can get the most breeze. Here are a few photos I took of her the other day doing just that in a nest of about 15 blankets.

Such delightful photos of Jody, and of Negra the day before. Won’t they be delighted when they can actually get outside!!!!

Marie — I was just thinking the same thing.

Jackie — Have you guys thought about making blanket stations on Young’s Hill so that Jody doesn’t have to drag her blankets all the way from the house? 😉

      Thanks everyone!

Yes, Amy. We will be putting tons of blankets on Young’s Hill, but even when we put fresh blankets in one area, Jody tends to still drag blankets from one area to the next. I would probably do the same if I were her- once you get your blankets all warm and cozy, it’s hard switching to new ones. 🙂

Oh good. Of course you would think of that. As long as she has plenty of options. 🙂

WOW! More amazing portraits. That last one of Jody is another winner. Such sweet faces. Gosh, I can’t wait for her outdoor naps to come…

Nothing like a soft, comfy bed. The soul in those eyes is absolutely beautiful!

These are the best pictures I’ve ever seen of Jody, thanks for capturing them, Jackie.

Jody looks like she is dreaming of running and taking a good nap on Youngs hill. You may have a hard time getting them in once they have Youngs hill open.

Like I’ve said before…if the eyes are the window to the soul then we are looking into one very sweet, sweet soul! These photos of Jodi are exquisite!
