Foxie and Jamie and the Giant Troll
In case you were wondering, yes, Foxie is still carrying and protecting her giant troll, whom we have since named “Doris”. Her bright pink hair may be missing, but a mother’s love will never fade…
Today Jamie decided it would be funny to playfully ‘steal’ Doris from Foxie, but she made sure Foxie knew it was all in fun. By the way, Jamie must have heard all the comments that she looked good in tutus yesterday!

Mail call
We received a good number of returned auction invitations (be sure to update us when your address changes!) and decided to give them to the chimpanzees. Jamie made her way through them one by one…

UPDATE: They have agreed to pull the segment! Good work everyone! There is reportedly going to be a baby chimp on Dancing with the Stars tonight – predicting the winner of the show. Pineapple for dinner
Here are some photos of six of the seven during dinner tonight (Foxie with her peanut butter sandwich, and Burrito, Jody, Annie, Missy and Negra enjoying huge chunks of pineapple). Jamie was out of view on top of the climbing structure – watching our new (well…used, but new to us!) tractor being delivered!
PS. Our auction on Friday night raised $56,000! I’m so overwhelmed by the support – I have no words! Yahoo!
Foxie and the giant troll
Today, we gave Foxie the giant troll doll donated by supporter, Steve. Notice the mothering behavior. It makes me terribly sad that Foxie never got to mother a child of her own, even though she had several. This video makes it clear to me that she would have been an excellent mother.
