As you know, Foxie is completely obsessed with trolls. Nearly every time we walk by, she passes one out to us to initiate a game. But there’s only so much you can do with a troll, right? Sooner or later, the passing-the-troll-back-and-forth game starts to get boring. Luckily, Diana is able to think outside the box. Tucking the trolls into our socks and running back and forth made Foxie so happy she had to do back flips.

This made my day! She is clearly having a ball. It did bring tears to my eyes to watch her kiss the babies and stroke them so tenderly. She would have been such a wonderful mother had they let her keep her babies. I adore watching Foxie with her babies. Thank you for this wonderful video.

This is the best video yet!! Darling Foxie. So tender and so in charge. She was SO happy you were playing with her, Diana.
Today it was snowing in Cle Elum according the the Cle ELum weather site. How did the chimpanzees react to the snow?

Diana I think see was waiting for you to do a backflip, when she fell and got right back up and did it again, she was looking at you like , come on your turn, lets see you do a backflip. She is something else, always so happy and playful. By looking at her trolls I better get the ones I have saved mailed off, I cannot beleive the difference in the size, I was looking for BIG troll dolls on ebay and found a couple, I will try and mail them out next week. Okay Diana 13 day til Christmas and you said you would post a Santa list for Annie, Burrito , Foxie, Jamie , Jodi , Negra and Missy….we need to get our packages shipped probably no later then Friday. Thanks! and thank you for a great smile tonight, I needed it, my husband loved it too! To think she could not be this playful and herself for so long, I can tell she really has a bond with her human caretakers, you can see it in her eyes she loves and trust you!

Oh JB and Diana, Thanks for sharing such a fun video. I loved hearing her and watching the trolls in the socks. What a kick! How tender to watch her kiss her babies and stroke them as she got them back. Oh she is so full of love. Foxie, you make my day.
I am also curious how the chimps like the snow fall?

I always download the videos and photos to my laptop so I can tote it around to show family and friends. I showed this video to my Mom and compared it to a picture of Foxie when she first came to sanctuary. Even my Mom could tell the difference in her appearance and said, “she looks younger.” I can’t get over how dainty her hands and fingers are, they’re beautiful. Thanks for the video.

yeeahhh! someone (I think it was Cindy) mentioned sometime ago on the forum about backflips and thought to myself how that would be so great to see .. and here it is! great video-thanks!
Foxie is so beautiful – her athleticism-agility and her soft gentle loving tendernesses towards the dolls is intoxicating ..
Go Foxie!

I have been following the blog since day one but not ventured to comment till now. This clip of Foxie is just amazing, it’s heart-warming and heart-breaking to see her being so gentle with the dolls. Yes, what a great mother she would have been if they had allowed her that. I intend to continue to be her guardian through ’09/10. (Does that count as a new pledge?). I was sorry to miss the enrichment part – I had to fill in at the dog shelter – I was there in spirit. Where did you guys post the pics?

The pictures are posted on the forum under fund raising. We had a great time. Hopefully you can come next time. We do plan on another one sometime the first part of the new year. I sure hope you can make it, Jennifer. And welcome to the blog. This was my first blog, also. It is my only blog but it is really fun getting to know everyone.
