Another snow video

December 18, 2008 by Sarah

Here’s another video for you to enjoy. I think you can see everyone, at least for a second. Missy is jumping up and down on a blanket. Foxie (and her troll!) are up on the platfom eating snow. Negra spent the most time outside out of all of them!

PS. It’s not too late to make a gift donation to the chimps! If we get your donation by Monday, we’ll be sure to get a card out to your gift recipient before the 25th!

thanks for this clip! so good to see everybody excited & made it outside all together! what a scene! who would’ve thought that Negra would stay out longer!?!
love seeing Burrito swiftly walking bipedally – as if he were walking across hot coals – or like after taking a shower and forgot to get a towel, feet all wet, gingerly scurrying over to the hall closet ..

so glad they really like the snow & eating it too!

Burrito mincing across the snow bipedally is a hoot! 🙂

    oh and Shelly K –
    – I think possibly maybe you missed my comments to you from yesterday’s blog posting (Chimps & tea) – Thank you so much for the lovely Christmas card – I appreciate it!

Missy was a hoot, she was so excited. It was great seeing Burrito actually walk on the snow it brought back when he first went outside.

My heart lit up and a BIG SMILE came across my face to see the excitement and Burrito skampering across was a hoot! Thanks for all the care, love, and freedom you the chimps! BTW: I live in Burbank, WA we have 8″ of snow which is not typical for us.

LOVE the sounds effects! All of them look very excited in their own way (and don’t seem as hesitant now). Looks like the blanket path is a big winner too, although Burrito’s choice of crossing the snow was indeed very funny.

Oh Burrito was so funny! Nothing sissy about him! (Although he sure moved fast) I enjoyed seeing Foxie kick the snow up. The blankets were a great idea. I noticed cups out and wondered if you had put hot tea out for them to warm up out in the snow? Thank you Sarah for sharing.
I’ve sure enjoyed having 3 extra days off. School break abruptly started yesterday and we won’t be back until January 5th!! 🙂 Teaching is a tough job but somebody has to do it.

I noticed Burrito come out the door step on the snow and shanged his mind went back in thought about it for a few sceonds and went back out, he was not too sure if he wanted his feet back on the cold snow again….Burrito looks really good, very healthy young man. It is great to see them all together like that, such beauties, seeing them warms my heart and my soul!

Burrito is hilarious! He looked like he wasn’t sure the white stuff would hold his weight. They sounded like they were enjoying themselves. I just adore listening to their vocalizations. Foxie sure has decided she can’t pass a mound of snow without having a bite. Thanks so much for sharing. This was such a wonderful treat after a frustrating day at work! Laughter sure felt good.

I almost forgot….Thank you all so much for the wonderful greeting card. That you each took the time to sign it was especially touching as I know you are all very busy. It was a lovely gift and very much appreciated. Happy Holidays to you and the chimps. I hope the new year brings lots of contributions and continued health for humans and chimps. Thank you again for giving these wonderful animals the gift of a new life. You are all heroes!

This was great! I love seeing all of them together. I was talking to my mom today and she said she had seen the chimps on the news and wondering if I had seen them in the snow and I answered “Are you kidding? I’m on their website at least 3-4 times a day. 🙂 Of course I saw them in the snow.” Thank you for posting so many videos and photos! I absolutely love it and it always makes my day.
