At CSNW, we have a lot to be thankful for this year. To everyone who has supported us and spread the word about the amazing Cle Elum Seven, we cannot thank you enough. You have literally given these seven chimpanzees a second chance at life.
And to the chimpanzees who have allowed us the priveledge of becoming your friends, we are eternally grateful.
To all of our blog readers, we wish you could all be here to celebrate this day with the chimps, but I guess you’ll have to settle for some photos.
Happy Thanksgiving!

The photos just gets my wife and myself so much. Like holding
the plate of food, puting on hats, socks. That just shows how
smart the chimps or. And to thank most of there live were in a cage
and have things done to them.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
And thank you for the great care that you are giving to the Cle Elum seven. Just by the changes in their lives and appearance I am sure that they are very greatful for what you guys have done for them. If it weren’t for you we would not have the oportunity to help them. Thank you again for all that you have done.

The Women that prepared and served this meal know the true spirit of Thanksgiving which is reflected in the look on the face of these divine creatures. Keep up the great work

I give thanks that there are people like the staff there that are giving these beautiful, sweet animals such a wonderful life after all they have endured. I’m sure they had a handful of monkey chow each day at the lab no matter what day it was. Today you gave them a true Thanksgiving meal. I am also thankful to those around the world who provide a home for orphaned or abused chimps to save them from living their life in a cage. God Bless you all for your dedication and thank you for sharing the Cle Elum Seven with us.

Wonderful photos!! It looks like they are really enjoying their dinner!! This looks a lot like our Thanksgiving Feast we had at my sister-in-law’s house….the only difference is everyone was watching the Seahawks game during our meal. 🙂 Thank you for sharing their first Thanksgiving with us!

Hi Kathy, Healing is really, really going very slow, I have days when I can get up and walk slowly to the kitchen for coffee and other days when I have to use a walker to get there, I just wish I would heal so I can get back to work, not having the income we are used to is starting to really kick in. I go back to the new doc on the 17th they are going to a pain injection into my spine , so hopefully and with all my prayers I will be going back to work in January, but no guarantees, thank you Kathy for asking, I cannot wait for the day I can say,. YES I am better now. There is one thing Diana, Jb, Sarah and Keith I would like to request for Christmas, the only thing I want is a video tour of the Sanctuary, we see the videos clips and can see some of hte background, but can we have a quick video tour of the inside of the Sanctuary for the ones that cannot come and volunteer on person…..that is what I want for Christmas! Thank You! Shelly C

Your pictures are great……beyond great, they are perfect!!! Everyday (morning and evening) I check in at CSNW for new news on the seven little angels. It’s been said, over and over I know, but what you big
primates are doing for the seven little ones is just a miracle. I’m proud to be a friend of the CSNW.
