Giving Thanks

November 27, 2008 by Diana

Please see Audrey’s comment in the post below this – she and I must have woke up with the same thoughts today!

Today is certainly a day to ponder thankfulness, and there is so much to be thankful for this year. I am personally thankful for the seven chimpanzee people who have come into my life and for all of the amazing human people that have come along with them. It is such a huge benefit to this job to be able to meet such fantastic, compassionate, thoughtful folks. I am thankful to all of you for being a part of my life and, especially, the lives of the seven chimpanzees who are now a part of all of our hearts.

Have a wonderful day.

Diana

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you over there. At school yesterday I was asked what I am thankful for and it was so nice to say the 7 chimps in Cle Elum and all the wonderful people who also care so deeply about them.
Diana and Audrey, you said it so well and I just echo your thoughts and feel very blessed to be a part of the Sanctuary. My prayers also go out to the chimps still in labs and pray that they can be rescued in the very near future.
May each of you, chimp people and human people have a wonderful day.

After having a wonderful Thanksgiving I returned to the blog with wonderful thoughts of all the chimpanzee and human people who have come into my life this year. I found others with the same thoughts. I am so thankful we have all come into each other’s lives and so thankful we can help our new chimp friends to change their lives.

Soon lets hope we can be thankful that all chimpanzees will breathe fresh air and eat good food and play and laugh.
