Missy was showing off her skills again today, first playing with her coconut, then tossing up in the air to crack it. Jamie hit hers against the door track instead and drank the juice. Annie, Foxie and Negra, having yet to pick up these techniques, hope that Missy and Jamie are feeling generous.

It’s really fun to see how interested they are in those coconuts. I bet it doesn’t take long before they’ve all learned exactly how to get them open.
Oh my goodness! These friends are endlessly interesting. I find I am thinking of them ALL the time (and I believe the same is true for Karen)! I find that since connecting with the SEVEN so much I am seeing all the other non-human creatures even more keenly. Our seven are ambassadors for sure. Have a happy Foxie birthday party today.
I love the way they are always watching each other to learn new things..on Chimp Eden the caretakers will sit on one side of the cage and give the chimps large rocks and shelled nuts….the chimps watch the caretakers smash the rock on to the nut on the floor and then get the nut out…the chimps learn very quickly…it looked like they really enjoy getting the nuts out of the shell! Off to work…I have to log off otherwise I find myself watching the videos over and over again, it is very addicting! XOXO
