Christmas Party Bonus Photos

December 26, 2020 by Diana

We took hundreds of photos during the various parties yesterday, no exaggeration. I combed through them today and selected a few I just had share.

Burrito unwrapped one of the many gifts and decided to wear the raffia ribbon for a while.

Then he donned a new leopard print scarf

The tree in the greenhouse was a real treasure this year and produced quite a lot of enjoyment.

Negra:

Annie:

Missy mastered the tree and got the most out of it until the very end when she toppled it over (see video from yesterday).

Look at that tangerine hidden way in the depths of the the tree!

Jody enjoying the fruits of her tree-scavenging labor:

There were several spots in the greenhouse that were dusted with coconut. Here’s Annie collecting some:

and Negra:

and I’ll end with this photo of Burrito, in awe of Christmas, with coconut dust on his lips:

for even more warm holiday cheer, check out our Instagram account to see a short clip of Mave’s Christmas nest. Happy Boxing Day, everyone!

I laughed OUT LOUD when I saw the photo of Mr. B with the leopard scarf. What a goofball he is. Just loved it. Thanks for sending it on to us, Diana. That’s the 2nd hearty laugh you brought me today. The first was the upside down Christmas card.

Elaine, I’m always glad to help provide some laughter! 🙂

    Hi, Diana!
No boxing day for you guys, as I’m sure there were no leftovers, beyond the usual mess!
Annie with coconut on her lips looks as satisfied as Willy B did with his dinner rolls!
Thinking to Honey B’s cross-legged “zen” photo in the newsletter, I remember my favorite Foxie photo: ” Foxie sits cross-legged in Greenhouse window”!

I had forgotten about that photo – it is a good one!

        Hi!
Yeah, it’s just the look of contentment on her face that I like. Honey B’s is more “zen” because she’s sleepy. But that Foxie pix always makes me happy. That and the lazy summer day photo, shot from above, of Foxie and (i think) Jo on the bottom greenhouse platform, Foxie’s legs crossed and kicked up on the ladder, doll on her belly.

Your little evergreen tree gives new meaning to “The Giving Tree”. I am loving every photo, wish I could see all 100+! Burrito is so funny, what a character. That last photo of him with coconut dust on his lips is simply the best. Annie too. Speaking of coconut dust — seriously, you think up everything wonderful for these celebrations!
