Foxie and Burrito play

January 18, 2009 by Diana

Foxie continues to entertain us on a daily basis with her playfulness. Yesterday morning Burrito was her playmate. Foxie is holding a Madame Alexander doll that Cindy brought (like the British Boy) and Burrito has a scrub brush and a plastic wrench. He gets clocked in the face with the scrub brush at one point, but doesn’t seem to mind.

I don’t think I’ve seen Burrito play like this before, maybe some of Foxie’s playfulness is rubbing off on him. He was also quite the gentlemen when Foxie gave him a smack with the brush. Gosh, since his birthday Burrito’s showing us a new side to his personality. Way to go Mr. B.

Burrito showing a play face is a rare treat indeed. I love to see the chimps playing and having fun. Burrito showed his happy side and there wasn’t even any food! It does seem he is showing us more of his personality since his big day and I am enjoying seeing his playful side. I hope Foxie will urge him into play frequently now that he is more open to having some fun.

Oh I had to write to say thanks for all the shenanigans these guys are up to. We are definitely seeing a more playful group! Just think what the next 6 months will bring…… Anyone want to take a guess?

Very cute video!! Thank you, Diana! I think I might have even heard some chimp giggles in there too! 🙂 Love that!! Jeani ~ I think the next 6 months are only going to bring more playfulness and fun surprises from the Cle Elum 7…don’t you agree? That reminds me of a question that I have…has Foxie progressed any more in her nest building since the last time you posted about it? I think she will if she hasn’t already….I think they will all continue to become more comfortable and even more happy in their new home as the 1 year anniversary approaches.

Audrey, I think so too and I can’t wait for the day Foxie makes a nest. Maybe she will coax Burrito into building a platform for so she can build it there!
