Foot gloves – more sanctuary fashion

January 16, 2009 by Diana

Last week, the same day that J.B. hung the mirror, Jody was wearing a striped glove on her foot. She wore it ALL day. Occasionally she would take it off and put it back on. She made a point of putting her toes into the fingers of the glove (at least some of her toes in some of the fingers), as you can see from the close up below. She wore the foot glove while inspecting the mirror as you can see in the second photo. That’s Jamie next to Jody half standing in the box. You just never know what the chimps will find appealing. It’s a good thing they receive so many great gifts – there’s always something for everyone in their daily enrichment! Thank you all so much for sending your care packages that are always full of fun gifts and warm sentiments. You make a difference in the lives of the Cle Elum Seven everyday.

Diana, thanks for the late evening post I was about to turn off my computer for the night and thought I’d look one more time at the “seven” and there was your post.

I don’t think I’ve seen Jody wearing anything before now, good for her. I enjoy not knowing what I’ll see next from our family.

Thanks so much for the post Diana ~ seeing the photo of the gloved foot, I would have assumed that was Jamie! The photo’s really made me smile, thanks again!

I do love seeing the fashion shots when the chimps wear clothing and accessories. They have such a unique sense of style! Great picture Diana!

I thnk the glove looks better as a toe sock….and not that any of the gifts are bad, they are all great…but do think the mirror is one of the best for them….oh i’m so glad you don’t LOVE them….lol…just kidding…they are they lucky 7….

Okay, CSNW staff, get ready for the flood of colorful gloves I’m sure you will be receiving from all of us loving friends of the CE7!! Does a glove on the foot mean “let’s play” like a sock on the foot does? I’m willing to bet the answer is yes. Thank you for these fun photos, Diana!
