Trolls: Not just for Foxie!

January 19, 2009 by Sarah

Of course most readers know that Foxie is almost never seen without one of her beloved troll dolls. People send them to her from all over the country! Somewhat less known – Jamie and Jody also frequently play with troll dolls. At breakfast this morning Jamie and Jody each had troll dolls in their pelvic pockets (the space between the thigh and the belly – perfect for storing and carrying objects and food!). But here is an inside tip: the craze has now reached as far as Annie! See this video for more.

Looks the troll craze is on. Thank goodness people are sending them to CSNW so there will be plenty to go around. It must be the hair that makes them appealing..lol.

How wonderful that Annie is now playing, too. I look over the last 6 months and see how much of a family they have become, and how trusting they have become with each other. We don’t see as much timidness from Annie, Negra has started to laugh, Burrito isn’t terrorizing the girls as much as he just wants to play, Jody figured out how to keep her toes warm, Missy continues to become more beautiful, Jamie continues to amze us, and Foxie has taught all of them to love a troll. And I am sure they do not know how much they have all taught us. I’m glad we are all part of their family.

Love to know that Annie is coming out of her shell…..just warms my heart. Wish I knew what the attraction is to the trolls!

I bet they like the plastic and the fact that the trolls are fairly indestructible (well, maybe not indestructible, but they last longer than most other toys). Plus they fit nicely in their pelvic pockets, their hands, their feet and their mouths so they can easily carry them around. And they have interesting facial features for the chimps to look at! Not to mention the bright-colored hair that can be removed (or not). Basically, I guess it may be almost the same reasons that people like troll dolls! What do you think, Shelly? 🙂 I’m glad to see that they are all starting to enjoy “troll collecting”. It’s fun to watch them play with the trolls. Thank you, Sarah!
