Post Party Poopers

July 5, 2026 by Chad de Bree 4 Comments

Yesterday, the chimps had one heck of a party! It was such a great party, I spent then entire afternoon trying to find chimps to take photos of but they were virtually nowhere to be found. Everyone was in a calm relaxing mood this afternoon.

That is great for them, bad for the person trying to get photos for the blog. Here is what I was able to get.

Foxie relaxing in the Greenhouse

Honey B eating what’s left of her lunch onion

Lucky sitting on the food chute using firehose as support

Firehose also makes a great pillow apparently

Very sensible having a post party rest…until the next exuberant and fun packed event and it will be pant hoots galorious once more :sparkling_heart::sparkling_heart::sparkling_heart:. Thanks to you all for giving these beloved darlings the good life. They truly deserved it.

As we often say, there are no bad photos of the chimps. Their personalities shine through! Plus it is always fun to see the sanctuary through the caregivers eyes, so thanks for sharing these sweet pooped-out moments.
