Cuckoo for Coconuts

July 18, 2026 by Krissy Brasfield 5 Comments

We recently realized that we purchased a bunch of coconuts for a party and we forgot to use them.  Oops!  So the chimps got coconuts today for no reason in particular.  I think that’s a pretty good reason to enjoy a special treat!

Today’s blog post features Burrito, but you’ll be seeing more of Jamie, Foxie and Annie with their coconuts in the near future.

Enjoy Burrito as he goes cuckoo for coconuts!

Bubba is the fastest cow-POKE in the West, but not fast enough to catch all of the milk!
Enjoyed hearing his dinosaur groans. Thanks, Krissy!

Thank goodness for clean floors, so you can drink the coconutjuice right of it!!
But I also think that Bubba doesn’t mind a bit of dirt in his food…..

Ahhhh, the sweet yummy reward of getting to the inside! Worth all the work. I was wondering, just how sticky does everything and everyone get?! 🙂 Mr. B left a lot of coconut milk on the floor to pursue the attack to get the inside. I have a funny feeling that this afternoon their grooming session will be pretty sweet tasting!

It amazes me how lightening fast Burrito’s finger pokes are! Ka-POW! (add red, orange, yellow starburst behind that!). Can’t wait to see the rest of the gang conquering their coconuts.
