Negra’s life has changed a lot in the last couple of months, but luckily she still seems to find joy in the simple things, like crunching into a perfect heart of romaine lettuce.

I’ve never understood how she’s stayed so round, considering that her favs are lettuce, peanuts, and prickly lettuce, and some pieces of rolls 10 days each year! She got every. Last. Bit.

Oh Anna! You sure know how to please us! Watching Negra crunching away on her favorite (healthy) food is a true pleasure. I love her so. Negra made quick work of her lettuce and she didn’t skip a beat jumping right on to her raisin board, followed up by her Royal Decree to stop the ruckus! Her mind and tummy are still aging in reverse. :). I wish her legs could join in on the fun. Sigh…. Negra, I love you dearly.
I truly treasure these precious videos of Negra now at this stage of her remarkable life and not just to watch her eat her lettuce with such enjoyment but to hear that crunching like I am right there with her. It is truly heartwarming to know she takes pleasure in the simple day to day things and being at the centre of a loving family. Negra is a survivor and a little star.
