Thank you. I love to watch animals expressing their joy. Cows were the first creatures who showed me what sentient beings animals are, so I have particular appreciation for them.

It is wonderful to see Honey, Betsy, and Meredith all overcome with a case of the Spring Pasture Zooms! I presume that Merrie’s foot and hoof treatments have proven so successful that her Auntie Betsy had to show her appreciation with some cow licks to her friend J.B.

I remember Cy’s happy dance when the cows arrived in their Spring Pasture two years ago. I hope that he had the opportunity to welcome them back.

I loved tagging along with the “cowgirls” on their treck to their new pasture. It was exciting for the cows and so entertaining for me. Love these girls…and thank you CSNW!

J.B., thank you for always documenting this joyful trek to greener lush pastures. Eight years! Hard to believe. This year’s Running of the Cows was the best! I recall either last year or the year before you said the girls were slowing down and the trip to the spring pasture was not as fast paced as prior years. Well, this year sure made up for that. Wow! Betsy’s zoomies were an amazing expression of pure joy! The big licks and zoomies just might be the sweetest “thank you” I’ve ever seen.

Ah, one of two days a year you and your assistant become literal cowpokes!
Although Betsy echoing you was hilarious to see. She was telling the other two “let’s get a mooooove on!” She truly was the star of the show this time. do you think she knew which day it was?

It’s so good to see Meredith doing well with the steep climb.
May the 4th be with you all.

I might have gotten confused on the donation link. It wasnt directly to the Sanctuary but I donated $500 (plus the fees) from the link I received in email. It was a 3rd party site and now I’m worried it wasnt properly credited to the Sanctuary. UGH…..Sorry folks but whoever ends up with it should hopefully put it to good use.

Daniel, you likely noticed that it went to “GiveBig Fund”. That’s where it should be! No worries and thank you!

Daniel – you donated in the right place and we received your generous donation! Thank you so very much for making that gift.
