Sock It to Me: A Willy B Story

April 24, 2026 by Sabrina

One thing about about Willy B, he rarely seems to get bored. He takes enrichment items that might be ignored by the other chimps and turns it into an hour of fun and play. In today’s blog video, he has a sock that was gifted to him by caregiver Diana for ‘Love a Chimpanzee Day’, and is his usual Willy B fashion he turns a simple sock into a game for himself and caregiver Kelsi.

Our silly gorilla. I thought he was going to shred it.

Since he’s no longer with George and the LA Kids, who’s Cy’s #2? Rayne?

For some reason, I could not access this video or the blog last evening. It was worth the wait and a real treat to watch this morning! I have a sneaking suspicion that Honey B put in a request to Diana to gift Willy B with a fun item that would not make noise. This colorful sock certainly did the trick! Willy B is having a blast celebrating Love a Chimpanzee Day.

Oh my goodness! I went through the same thing, and thought that there must have been issues with my phone or internet!

What a beautiful, serene, sleepy face photo. Thanks for showing us his restful side as well as his endless energy.
