Today was all play! Burrito may be one of the most unserious chimps I have ever met! He has an infectious energy that you can’t help but pick up! It seems like Gordo and George also caught some of Burrito’s energy because they were being quite silly too!

It was fun to watch everyone in such a playful mood including Lucky. It would be great to see a play date between George and Burrito, bet their energy level is the same.

It makes you wonder if somewhere in his sad, unfortunate past someone person was kind to him and brought out this playful energy which he carried with him until the day he came to sanctuary and could really Bust a Move!! Its so wonderful to see the chimps happy and playful. I love when Burrito goes upside down. Which chimp is that who scoots across the floor? is that a nervous habit or are they having fun?
That’s Lucky and her “blanket car”. She scoots in moments of excitement. at the last place, they said that she sometimes does it to de-stress, but obviously, here was a happy occasion. She also did it at George’s birthday party, which was another happy occasion.

Look up the definition of “fun” in the dictionary and there’s a photo of Burrito next to it! His back-scoot maneuver is so funny!! Happiness is….Burrito! Gordo and George and their playful friendship is heartwarming. I think Gordo is a kid at heart and having someone younger is just what this hoppy boy needed. And look at George’s relaxed droopy bottom lip! It reminds me of Jody.
