Breakfast With Burrito And Friends

September 9, 2025 by Krissy Brasfield

Today started very Fall like.  This morning was a little darker, a little drizzly and a little bit chilly.   The chimpanzees are really enjoying the cooler temperatures, and Jamie’s group of 6 headed right out onto Young’s Hill for their morning patrol.  Even Negra ventured out, with a doll tucked into her pelvic pocket!

Come breakfast time, everyone meandered in from the Hill at their own pace.  And surprisingly, Annie was the last one in, making Burrito pretty impatient for his breakfast!  But then, Burrito doesn’t like to sit still for anything.

Come have breakfast with the chimps!

    Our boy never sits still!
Seems Annie qas busy checking out the neighbors!
The Boss must be happy pear season is here! I still hear her cough…. is she just eating too fast?
I’m also glad that no one seems to begrudge the Queen her morning meds pudding!
Thanks for the close-ups, to Miasy especially, who usually prefers not to

A fine start to a Fall like day and Burrito had you on your toes with his impatient gestures demanding his breakfast. I could feel his vibes and with Burrito food is very important.Good to know that Negra and Annie tucked in to the largesse.I would also be wanting a taste of your yummy breakfast especially banana smoothies with or without those meds!

I could watch them all day! Burrito is crazy as always. After reading he was feeling ubder the weather previously and didn’t have much of an appetite for a few days, it makes me so happy to see him as impatient as ever for breakfast! Never change, Bubbie!

Maybe I read it wrong, Eli, but I took that to be several months ago, and they’re just now telling us

At the start of the video, it’s hard to tell if Burrito’s enthusiasm is for breakfast or his Bestie Chad! We may not have seen Jamie, but I know pears are her very very, very favorite! So I totally understand why she wanted to eat them with a little bit of privacy. Can never get enough of Burrito and Co. eating outside in their greenhouse. My favorite thing. Thanks!!
