Foxie’s Birthday Bash Continued!

August 9, 2025 by Jenna

Yesterday was Foxie’s 49th Birthday! If you haven’t checked out yesterday’s blog, feel free to check it out here. We had a surplus of party footage so please enjoy today’s video featuring that content!

Thank you to Paulette for sponsoring Foxie’s birthday!

Well, the avocado ice cream went over a treat with Neggie and Honey B! What about the guest of honor? Did she like it?
Love seeing Gordo’s bunny hops and sweet play with Dora.
And I think it’s safe to say sweet Georgie likes tomatoes, strawberries, and privacy when he eats! Such a neat eater, not tossing the veggies at all!

Hi Linda, She did love it! She missed it during the party as she was smartly focused on her watermelon bowl on the hill. So I brought some out for her and her buddy, Bubbie, to share after the party and she food grunted the entire time she ate it! 🙂

Aw, thanks, Katelyn! Doubly kind of you!

I love your parties. Watermelon bowls never disappoint! Everyone was so excited, but Gordo‘s little hippity-hop-bounce dance demonstrated the enthusiasm best of all. It’s always fun to watch the different eating styles. Dora was all about the blackberries. Dear little Missy was delicately picking out the watermelon from her bowl. Honey B was so pleased she almost sounded as if she was singing! Terry quietly and privately noshed away on his bowls in his favorite spot, the greenhouse. And sweet George, a party of one, appeared as if he could not eat everything fast enough because it all tasted so good. However, Cy appears to be the only one who actually spruces himself up for the occasion. Clearly, he has a slight crush on birthday girl Foxie because he had a new hairstyle for the occasion. A mohawk!! Looking good Cy!

Kathleen, I read the comments before watching the video. Your observations were a spot on! Beezus was singing! And Cy’s mohawk LOL!

Katelyn, what a fun summer party. That was fabulous! well done!

Their absolute, unrestrained joy upon seeing the feast was delightful! And, yes, I noticed how neatly George ate his, and enjoyed Gordo’s hops. What a great day!

These funny-fruity-feasts are lovely and it’s great to see the chimps happily devour the delicacies, but their ballooning waistine is somehow worrisome. Being overweight AND elderly is no fun at all.

Fruits and Veggie’s are served in very creative way’s to the Chimps, at party’s, never fattening foods.

I’m sure the staff knows exactly what I’m talking about.

yes, big bellies are common in apes, in order to digest all that fiber.

I’m a vegan, aging and overweight ape myself, and I know the difference between having a cute big belly after having a fruit-bowl and being obese.

Hi Adrienne! Are you talking about the footage of Negra? Negra is overweight but was larger prior to CSNW and is smaller bodied now. She has been on reduced portions for many years and she is honestly a picky eater. We do our best on our end but her personality is truly a gal who loves to lounge. She’s our eldest resident, happy, and seemingly healthy otherwise! We take every day with Neggie as a gift.

How can I go about sending a package to Roxie or some of the others?

Lisa, the website (click at the top of this page) has a “donate” page. There, you will find a list of things they can’t accept and their PO Box. You’ll also find a link to their wishlists at Amazon and other sites. You can also register with Amazon Smile, so that a pirtion of all your purchases goes to CSNW
