We’re throwing a party for Foxie’s 49th birthday, and it’s a big one. Her favorite human, Katelyn, went all out — she planned everything from start to finish and showed up on her day off to make sure it was just right for Foxie. On the menu: homemade avocado ice cream (yes, the staff got in on that too), watermelon bowls piled high with fruit and veggies, and rounds of berry smoothie shooters to top it all off.

Foxie’s caregiver’s for today also had a friendly competition to see who could draw her beloved Strawberry Shortcake doll and these were then judged by Foxie’s favorite biped, caregiver Katelyn!
The winner in 1st place is Sabrina, followed by Anna in 2nd place and Ellen in 3rd place with Kelsi, Jenna and Krissy all in a tie for 4th
The small drawings then became part of the party decorations!

I always laugh at Neggie for handing out “thank you kisses” to everyone before eating, then I immediately worry about whether she was anle to land anything, bc I saw Bubba headed over to “her” spot. First, it was the spot inside the tire, now he’s discovered her scale spot!

You all throw the absolute best! parties! Foxie did seem delighted with that doll. The strawberries looked perfect, and I suspect the flavor of everything was premier. Glad to see dear Negra is still moving along. These are some lucky chimps, even on normal days. Bravo!

The fruit bowls look scrumptious. The art contest was brilliant and must have been tricky to judge. But, as expected, it appears Foxie was most smitten with the first doll! I love her claps to request a return of the doll — please and thank you.
