Busy Busy Busy

December 26, 2024 by Kelsi

We have so much fun watching the chimps forage and open their new presents on Christmas! But as you can imagine, the next day it is a mess! Between the clean up of the party and shoveling snow it didn’t leave us with a lot of time in the chimp house. However, while the humans may have been busy, the chimps on the other hand, had a lovely calm day- eating snow, nesting, and watching a little bit of TV! I hope you all have a lovely relaxing day after Christmas too!

Here are a few pictures I was able to capture in between cleaning!

Some great photos today. The 2d one of Cy, especially, is amazing! Surreal. Maybe a contest winner?

Kelsi, the pictures are wonderful. It looks like Willy B is showing off a bit and I love that picture of Dora. Did you try to enlist Honey B in assisting with the clean up in her area? I know she has been willing to do some cleaning in the past. Maybe next time.

I understand that Honney B’s has been promoted from cleaner to poopsampler assistant….

I can’t imagine rhe leftovers you might find in all of that paper! And the sweet potatoes on the floor, spilled from someone’s plate…
That wolf blanket is popular. You might need another. The other day I saw the band members of some TV show, I think it was Kelly Clarkson, and someone gifted another bandmate a tortilla blanket. It reminded me of Honey Bs favorite and it made me think we haven’t seen it in a while.

After seeing yesterday’s video, I can only imagine the mess left after the Christmas festivities. Hopefully Honey B and Jamie helped with today’s cleanup. Thanks for the photos, Kelsi! A quiet crew. It looks as if everyone has a Too-Much-Fun hangover! 🙂

These are beautiful photos. The chimps look very content after all the excitement from yesterday. Love them:)

Thanks for the great photos, starting off with Cy. Everyone looks very content and very full. I don’t blame them. I wouldn’t get up from a long winter’s nap to clean up. I’d just leave it until the next day or the next. WHAT!! You’ve obviously never seen my abode.

Thanks for these photos, Kelsi and though you were busy with the cleaning you still found time to snap a few classic post Christmas celebration shots. I know just how Dora & Rayne feel ready for a snooze after all that revelling and Christmas cheer; maybe getting ready for New Year’s Eve jollifications!
