I bow before her “Royal Highness” Queen Negra as that lady does indeed look so regal. Love that expression on Negra’s face as something seems to have caught her attention, like maybe the arrival of her delicious treats no less.
negra is my spirit animal. i would make myself a nice nest right next to Miss Negra and if she allowed me to i’d sleep right next to her. depending on whats for breakfast and how cozy and comfy we were, i’d follow her lead to either pull the blankets over our heads and go back to sleep or shift so the humans could clean! i think Queen Negra and i (in a perfect world!) would be great roommates!
I laughed the other day when a couple of them were having either zucchini or cucumber for breakfast but there sat Neggie with her bag of peanuts! The Queen will have what the Queen will have!
Your email reads “A simple blog for your Thursday afternoon”. But there is nothing simple about our gloriously beautiful Queen Negra. In four photos one can almost imagine the depth of her desires. Her yearnings…..
“Oh look! Is that someone coming my way? Someone who may be serving food?…hopefully more pudding….”
“I must oversee my Kingdom. Wait. What are the neighbors doing now? Ahhh, over there, is that the 2:10 train coming my way?”
“Sigh. I sure could go for a little smackerel right about now. Perhaps some of that yummy chocolate pudding. Or a nut bag. Yes, a nut bag right about now would be lovely.”
“Oh look! It’s Anna! Is it mealtime already?! Just when I was considering a nap my wishes came true. It’s good to be the Queen!”
Hail to Her Highness. And Happy Holidays to all her minions. That’s all the human primates on the job every day. May your days be merry and bright as you serve at the pleasure of those you you love.

All hail Her Royal Highness, Negra! I wonder what she’s looking at? Some loyal vassals preparing lunch, perhaps?

I swear, she looks like this every morning!
Good morning, Neggie!

Kathleen, your comment was wonderful, I’m sure that is exactly what she was ruminating on.
