Simple Saturdays!

October 5, 2024 by Jenna

Please enjoy today’s video (above) of an assortment of clips from this week! It consists of food crunching noises, laughter, and dolls. It has it all!

I found this in Jamie’s nest this morning and laughed out loud:

Two supporters made us these friendship bracelets! So sweet!

I appreciate the difference in mealtime manners between Willy and Terry. Willy with his enthusiastic crunching and chomping vs Terry sitting politely on his chair eating very politely!

I think that Dr. Goodall would be very pleased if you send her that picture and would have a giggle about it.

    Dear Dr. Jane Goodall,
One of your biggest fans lives in Cle Elum, WA and resides at CSNW. Her name is Jamie and she is lovingly known as the Boss of the sanctuary. I understand that your schedule is extremely busy, especially after just being in NY City for the Climate Forward event, but I hope someday, somehow, you’ll find yourself back in WA and you’ll drop in to meet this well read, deeply loved, extraordinarily amazing chimpanzee lady and her family. I am certain Jamie would recognize you immediately! Until that magical day arrives, please know that Jamie and all us are so grateful for all the hope you give us.
    Thank you for being you,
    Jamie and friends

The friendship bracelets! What a great gift! I hope you showed them off to the gang. Willy B eating, crunching, chomping, and admiring his own image on your phone is one of my favorite things to watch……but today he had all those pepper seeds bedazzling his arm! Reminded me of Neggie when corn scatters upon her belly. Snacks for later.
