Dora the Acrobat!

October 4, 2024 by Krissy Brasfield

It was a busy day today, in the chimp house.  I didn’t have any blog content, and I was worried.

Jenna and Dora to the rescue!

Jenna spied with her eagle eye, a little Dora chimpanzee person whooping it up in the playroom, while her family napped all around her!

How cute is she??

And, don’t forget!  Giving Day for Apes is just around the corner on Tuesday, October 8th. We need your help to reach our fundraising goal and every dollar goes to the care of our deserving residents.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wow, they’re almost all napping in the same area!
    I like “Tiny D” for Li’l Dora.

JB, your idea of having the clover leaf platforms was brilliant! They seem to love them!

Look at her, having so much fun around all the sleepy heads.

Dora, you little beauty, full of tricks and perhaps a little mischief while your pals napped away.Maybe you were hoping one of the sleepy heads would wake up for a little game with you.You little darling. :sun_with_face: :sun_with_face::star:

I love the way she kicks her feet up in air while hanging upside down. What a spunky petite chimp, good to see her so happy.

Darling little Dora, she can really spin on those bars. It looked like she was really enjoying herself! ?

It’s the joyful leg kicks that make this so wonderful! Bless little Dora, and all the sleepyheads…

Dora: the tiny but mighty little acrobat! Reminds me of little acrobat Foxie on Jamie’s side! Two ladies full of spice and sass who love to do things their own way!

:heart_eyes:THAT was the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen!! Dora’s upside down acrobatics and little feet fluttering in the air seemed to be a deliberate attempt to distract or awaken Mave from nap time. And Dora looked soooo tiny compared to everyone else.

Thank goodness Jenna spotted Dora and thanks, Krissy, for sharing it with us.
