What a delightful looking St Patrick’s Day lunch, everything green and yummy. May I please have a plate for one.

beets and I saw some eggplant, too.
From “corned beef and cabbage” to “corn, beets, and cabbage” (well, lettuce)

What a fun celebration. That one plate positioed on the barrel was hit upon by almost everyone! Jamie, Negra, Burrito, and Annie all taking just a little and movig onward. And on the other side, Rayne cruising around, bipedal, with a plate in each hand, searchig her surroundings as she goes. Sounded like a wee bit O’excitement in the background!

Thank you caregivers for always throwing such fun parties. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all!

Lots of craic today at the chimp houses!

Why was Willy B upset? or was it Cy?

Please send Neggie my compliments on her swing from the platform via firehose. Her style has much improved!

On this feast day of the patron saint of ophidophobes (ya know, people like Annie McChimpanzee), it occurs to me that between the last Saint Padraig’s day and today, “the most trusted name in news” (the CSNW blog, of course) has not reported any news of a snake with the rude manners to slither on to the CSNW property. A year ago today I sent a prayer request in St. Pat’s general direction, explaining that once, when a garter snake (harmless and clad in green) wiggled into the greenhouse, Annie became so offended that Burrit O’Chimpanzee had no choice but to come to Annie’s aid and valiantly kiss her while gallantly standing aside to let Foxie undertake the dirty work of banishing the reptilian intruder.

So, in the interests of promoting the domestic tranquility in and about Young’s Hill and the Bray, I’ll pit in another good word to the saint for another snake-less year. I think their absence might even provide Maeve and Gord O’Chimpanzee to hop for joy.

      Please work that magic again!
Because St Foxie and St Strawberry Shortcake, who assist Saint Padraig, have other perils to engage them!

What a fun celebration! You are all amazing to throw these wonderful themed parties for the amazing Chimps – from the decorations to the food – you go all out:) I love the gusto with which Burrito eats! I can relate!!! Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you all.

I really love how you make such an extra effort with enrichment for the chimp families. Whoever laid out all the blankets and new toys, and whoever prepared and served the meals deserves extra kudos and pant0-hoots, it was quite spectacular. It was so obvious that the chimps appreciated it!

What a wonderful feast, but, yes a wee but, im sure the chimps and caregivers would enjoy a wee St Andrews Day feast as well. Haggis, neaps and tatties. To translate, haggis is mostly oatmeal, neaps is turnip and potatoes. lol :joy:. But, no matter what celebration day it is, you make every meal a celebration for them, and im sure the chimps as i and others do, appreciate all the effort and hard work you do.
