The Ice Bandit

November 26, 2022 by Diana

Apparently this chunk of ice has been in the tub since Wednesday. Maybe it had been forming from it’s original snow form into the perfect solid and was ready to enjoy today!

In any case, it certainly brought more than one chimpanzee a good deal of joy today. Speaking of joy… don’t forget to bid on Comfort & Joy auction items all weekend!

I enjoy the casual footage from house cameras. Impressed walking up stairs with ice/no hands on rails!!

I thought it was Honey B, the pumpkin heist Queen, making off with the block of snow ice. But it was Rayne! Well maneuvered Rayne. And she shares too.

I would never have thought of Rayne as being the ice thief. It certainly seemed to keep them entertained for awhile. I loved the stair climbing also.

Bipedal upstairs with a heavy chunk of ice! That’s something!
Thanks for the variety of viewpoints, Diana!

    Where was everybody else?

If we look closely, several other chimps are in the video. My favorite part is Mave through the window when Rayne is walking by :). She later also got some of the ice treasure.

Thanks, Diana. I could only see someone over in the corner by themselves (COULDN’T be half of Mora!!l). windered what happened to 6 more chimps!

I thought it was Honey B at first. But she and Rayne are rather similar in build.
That trek up the stairs was phenomenal! Wow!
And who wouldn’t want to share a block of ice with Cy??:kissing_heart:

Great fun! What a worry wart I am. My first thought when the ice was put down was “oh no, someone is going to take a slippery tumble down those stairs”… I Like I said, I worry too much! I am my mother’s daughter.
